About
About Cambridge Eavestrough
A direct booking line for one vetted, insured eavestrough contractor working across Galt, Preston, Hespeler, Blair and the surrounding townships.
Cambridge Eavestrough is a booking line. It is not an eavestrough company and does not claim to be one. It exists so that a homeowner in Cambridge with an overflowing trough, soft fascia or a downspout dumping on the front steps reaches one vetted, insured contractor quickly, instead of filling in four lead forms and being called by nine people for a fortnight.
In practice: the work is done by an eavestrough contractor who carries their own insurance and WSIB coverage, quotes in writing after looking at the house, and is accountable for the job. Your details are not sold on and you are not put into an auction.
This site is about installation, replacement, repair, fascia and soffit, downspouts, ice and snow damage, and guards fitted with a new system. A run is cleared as part of fixing it; cleaning on its own is not what this service is for. The site is straight about the rules: the discharge restrictions are Cambridge's Property Standards By-law 26-021 as published in 2026, the sanitary-sewer prohibition is the Region of Waterloo's Sewer Use By-law, the stormwater fee and its non-residential credit program are the City's, and heritage questions belong to the City's heritage staff. Where something is the City's to decide, the site says so rather than guessing.
Some jobs are declined. Hanging new trough on fascia that needs replacing first, resealing steel that is rusting through, capping decorative woodwork on a designated house without the City's view, and reconnecting a downspout to a pipe nobody can trace are all better turned down than done.
How this works
When you call 289-672-2697 or send the form, your details go straight to the eavestrough contractor covering Cambridge — not to a list, and not to a call centre. Calls go to voicemail when the crew is on a roof, which is most of the working day, and your message and number reach them at once by text and email. Expect a call back within one working day. The next step is a site visit, because an eavestrough quote on a Cambridge house cannot be made from the ground: the visit settles the condition of the fascia and soffit, the trough size the roof needs, and where on your lot the water can legally be released, and the written quote follows from that.
What we won't do
- Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
- Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
- Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
